Christmas Girls

 

I'm so proud of our Christmas girls. I loved their performances at last night's concert. And admittedly, I had tears rolling down my cheeks. Hanna stood so confidently on stage and performed what she's been practising in our living room (and bathtub) for weeks now.

Today is their last day of school before the holidays. Wow!  Can you believe Christmas is near? Merry Christmas beautiful girls!

A New World

The other day, Hanna finished a bite of her dinner and said, "I wonder what the world will be like when I am an adult..."

Hmmm.... such provocative thinking for a 5 year old.

"Some things will be the same, many things will be different Hanna," we replied.

But the thing I know is that these curious minds will help shape tomorrow's world. And so I told her that. "Hanna sweetie, do you know what the cool thing about a new world is? You get to help shape what it will look like."

We all do.
