Hope you are enjoying a warm and prosperous fall. We've just returned from a heartwarming trip to Winnipeg, where we shared in the circle of life. To start, Hanna's cousin's Ethan was baptized. Of course, Hanna was an eager witness, especially with her dad as godfather. It's hard to believe only 3 years ago, Hanna was baptized in this same church.
Then we visited Hanna's great grandmother or "starenka" Baba. At the beautiful age of 93, Baba is still as witty and wise as ever. We walked away being gifted chocolate and chips -- Baba's BINGO winnings. It pays to keep the mind sharp!!
Actually, the gift was in the visit itself. I am always brought back to memories of my mother when I visit her mother and sisters. How precious!
Being Miss social butterfly, Hanna visited with many other residents as well -- saying hello and asking their names. We could barely get her to stay still for the picture!
