Yesterday was Hanna's first day of pre-school. I don't know who was more excited -- her or me. She seemed quite annoyed by my fuss over which socks she wore and the picture snapping in the driveway. Mama, let's just go to 'Pee' School. (the 'R' sound is tough for her...)
And when we got there... more pictures with her little pals. "But we already took pictures," Hanna said. I promised her no more pictures. I loved seeing all the kids sporting new clothes...
On the drive home, I asked Brad, "Did Hanna go to the bathroom this morning? I don't think so... I hope she knows to ask the teacher to use the bathroom... or else it will be 'pee' school!"
Oh, the things a mother worries about. And somehow, kids manage despite our cluttered minds!
Last night I asked Hanna about school. "I listened to the teachers Mama. And I ate my snacks." All is well.
