Hanna came downstairs the other morning, leaned on the couch and rested her chin in her hands. With weary eyes she said,
"Mama, I'm so grumpy, and I don't even know why."
"That's okay Hanna. We don't always need to know why. Is there anything I can do to help you?"
(What a gift to be in touch with our feelings and to be able to articulate them.)
"Can I have candy for breakfast?"
