I asked Hanna that when I returned home recently from a speaking course in San Francisco.
"Are you kidding? Dad and I had a blast."

I knew this to be true. Hanna loves her daddy. And yet, I noticed that I really missed Hanna while I was gone. In fact, one night I awoke at 5:30 am hearing Hanna cry. I searched the hotel room looking for her but no luck. Then I remembered where I was and crawled back into bed.
I emailed Brad to tell him and his reply was, "Actually, Hanna was crying at 5:30 this morning..."
Imagine that. Across the miles, a mother can still hear her baby cry.
I realize Hanna notices when we're gone but feels so safe in her environment with the people who care for her that she doesn't have time to "miss me".
In any event, I was so happy for the hugs and kisses when I returned.
Just in case you missed us, here's a kiss for you.
