19 and counting

Peek a boo... I see you!

Hi everyone, it's me Hanna. Mama says I'm 19 months old today. I'm just learning to count. Everytime we go up and down the stairs, mama and I count them out.

But unfortunately, we only have 14 steps.  And I'm bigger than that now. So I think I'll have to start counting my toes now too.

P.S. Thanks Natacha for the slippers. I love them.

Nose Butt

Mama has a sore nose today. Hanna was so excited as we were reading a book yesterday that she flung her head back and smacked mama in the nose. Tears instantly welled the eyes! Man that hurts.

Once again we had to explain to Hanna that she needs to be gentle. She has so much energy that she doesn't know her own strength sometimes. 

But she gives the best hugs as her way of saying, "I'm sorry."

Family Day

Happy Family Day everyone!

We just returned from visiting my mom and dad's favourite spot in Canmore - Mystic Springs. We went swimming in the hot tub and outdoor heated pool. I'm getting really good a blowing bubbles in the water and floating on my back. Then, because I was shivering, I had my first shower.

Wow, it's fun being a big kid!

I also loved spending time with my Uncle and Aunty. They visited from Winnipeg and I'm still running around the house calling out their names trying to find them. Maybe they are still hiding???

Anyways, have a wonderful day. Mama says to try something brand new today!

World's strongest dad

In the eyes of my daughter Hanna, Brad is clearly the strongest and best dad. But after seeing this, I’d have to say there is another deserving man.

My own furniture

Part of Hanna's Xmas gift was her own table and chairs so she wouldn't climb all over ours. A few times I've found her standing on the dining room table playing with the chandelier!

Oh dear!

But in that moment, you can't raise your voice at her or get excited, or she'll go running....

off the edge of the table, that is...

Slowly she's learning that she sit on chairs... especially when popcorn twists are involved in the lesson.

I figure bribery isn't a bad thing when used in moderation!
